First season as a floating hotel has come to an end

After three wonderful months of committed work within a day to day routine full of warm temperatures and beautiful green colors, we have officially reached the end of our first summer/autumn season.

We're glad to close this chapter with an enormous feeling of accomplishment, in which we have provided the best for our guests, who came from many parts of the globe to enjoy this exceptional arctic summer experience, something very gratifying for the Arctic Bath team. There were many factors that made it successfully and very special, but among all of them, we highlight the the spa; the fine dining experience; our activities and the unique midnight sun.

The Arctic Bath's floating spa, placed in the main building, did exceed every expectation and demand, as our guests spent most of their time enjoying the breathtaking views from the jacuzzi. The deck was a perfect spot for sunbathing, never more than 2 meters away from the cooling water of Lule river.

The authentic swedish culinary was really well presented at our restaurant, where we served a fine dining experience filled with local products, based on a sustainable and circular economy, aiming to raise the standards of the Scandinavian's luxury hospitality. The 5 surprise course-menu made by Chef David Staf, inspired by his prior experience in Asia, immerse our guests into a deep and elaborated gastronomic experience with a mix of flavors picked up and collected from the surroundings.

The AB's activities were really much appreciated too. We can say that the stand up paddle was the most successfull one, as the river was mostly flat and low stream and our cabins have direct access to the water. Other than that, the moose safaris and walking in the forest did amaze some of our explorer and active guests, as the weather allowed them to grab the hiking sticks and get to the top of the hill to enjoy a pleasant panoramic view over Harads.

Last but not least, the one and only Midnight Sun phenomenon. The 24-hour sunlight around Arctic Bath gave to our guests a different kind of stay where they had the chance to walk into the "night" throught the nature and mainly go for a very unique midnight swim.
