Carpe Diem Beds Launches Flying Bed With a Touch of Tech

The Swedish luxury brand Carpe Diem Beds launches a new groundbreaking bed. The adjustable Vindö combines craftsmanship, innovation and tech with a sense of flying.

Carpe Diem Beds is known for breaking new ground when it comes to innovative bed concepts. Now the bed maker from Lysekil, Sweden is launching its most innovative bed ever. In line with the brand’s new tagline ”Let the night set you free” they wanted to catch a sense of freedom and futurism, along with the ultimate form of comfort and technology. The result was Vindö - an adjustable bed with built-in massage function, designed in a unique minimalistic style.

The bed has no traditional legs. Instead, it rests on a central pillar construction with a floor-based unit concealed under an adjoining exclusive carpet. Together, it gives Vindö the illusion of almost flying.

Naturally, an innovative bed also needs to adapt to the latest in tech, which is why Vindö is linked to a specially designed app that lets you adjust the bed’s position, lighting and massage functions. In addition, Vindö supports Apple’s and Google’s latest technology, which means that the bed can also be controlled with voice command.

The beds of Carpe Diem Beds are designed to revitalize the body through deep and comfortable sleep. That is why Vindö is equipped with the brand’s unique and patented Contour Pocket System, for best pressure relief and sleep comfort. The bed also features vibration massage, automatic neck and lumbar support and adjustable head and foot rests. In addition, Vindö offers a pleasant night light under the bed, which can be fitted as needed. All features can be controlled either via remote control, voice command or the app.

The bed is upholstered in quality fabric Zaragoza from Designers Guild and also comes an adjoining exclusively designed carpet.

Vindö reaches selected stores and merchants in Sweden and Europe in spring/summer 2018.
