Miele in global collaboration with Colliers

Miele, the German home appliance giant, continues its forward-looking expansion by implementing a new workplace strategy that includes new offices, warehouses, showrooms, and training facilities. To support this strategy, they have entered into a global partnership with Colliers Occupier Services. Miele has now signed an agreement to establish its new Swedish headquarters in Solna Business Park, covering approximately 1,700 square meters. Studio Stockholm is the responsible architect for the office, as well as the global design guide.

Through a close collaboration with Colliers and Fabege, who is the owner of Miele's new office space, Miele will customize the premises entirely according to its needs, and the move is planned for the second quarter of 2024. This marks an important milestone in Miele's extensive development of both its' business and organization. The company's motto "Always Better" reflects their endeavor to implement updated office concepts that can be used in multiple markets.

- The move of office location contributes to strengthening our position in the market and the office premises represent our core business both in expression and design. We will be able to create a unique space for our employees and partners to engage with our products and brand in new and exciting ways. Additionally, we will offer our employees a wide range of services in a central location, with the tram line right outside the door, says Niklas Mair, CEO of Miele AB.

Colliers Tenant Representation and Colliers Workplace Advisory are collaborating to implement a global design guide for Miele's office spaces, with Stockholm serving as a pilot project for this partnership. After the success in Stockholm, the implementation of the design guide will continue in other countries.

The completed office will be fully customized for Miele, including features such as an active kitchen with cooking areas and chambre séparée, training spaces, and showrooms for invited guests, says Martin Lindgren, Head of Occupier Services at Colliers Sweden.

Miele is a German manufacturer of home appliances based in Gütersloh, Germany. They also have an Experience Center on Kungsgatan in Stockholm and in Solna, where they also have an outlet store. Miele AB is a subsidiary of the German group with approximately 120 employees at the Swedish headquarters in Solna, Stockholm.
