As part of the Madrid Design Festival programme, the Mediterranean Manifesto exhibition, held at the ‘Teatro Fernán Gómez. Centro Cultural de la Villa’, brings together over thirty contemporary artists, designers, and craftsmen in a collective reflection on the Mediterranean as a cultural, material, and symbolic territory. Curated by Mariona Rubio Sabatés, the exhibition offers a journey where design, craftsmanship, and material experimentation coexist in a single exhibition space, structured around unique pieces and processes linked to craft and contemporary research.

“I often find myself missing the sunsets over the Andes in Santiago, Chile, where soft pink and amber hues settle over the mountains. That memory of warmth and connection with nature became the foundation of this bathroom project,” explains the founder of De Silva Interiors. The image of the American continent has crossed the Atlantic with her to London, where it has materialised in the warm tones of Dekton Rem. In the renovation of a residential bathroom, it covers the flooring, worktop, and front with its colour inspired by Calacatta, one of the most sophisticated white marbles.

For his personal residence in Everett, Washington, Andrew Shubin, the owner of ProGranite Surfaces LLC, approached the project with the same precision and material knowledge he brings to his professional work. Both the design and fabrication were led by ProGranite, with Dekton selected throughout for its durability, versatility, and aesthetic range. An avid cook, Subin drew inspiration from multiple trips to Brazil with the Cosenino team, where he experienced the traditional Brazilian churrasquerias firsthand.

Downtown Design, based in Riyadh and Dubai, is the leading design fair in the Middle East. It is held in Riyadh every September, while in Dubai it takes place in November. In both cases, the event brings together internationally renowned design brands and manufacturers as well as individual creators, collectives, and studios from around the world. It was in Dubai where 1930 was showcased, the stand designed for Cosentino by the award-winning studio Etereo, based in Milan and Dubai. Inspired by the aesthetic imagery of the 1930s, the project predicted one of the strongest trends for 2026: the return of art deco.

Built on a plot with significant verticality, this house in Tokyo stands out for its unique style. The client wanted a design inspired by a Moroccan riad, but instead of simply recreating these traditional constructions, designer Katsutoshi Naoi chose to organise the spaces "in such a way that walking through the house feels like walking through narrow alleys leading to several small gardens." "As a result, the gardens appear in different visual lines throughout the house. While not decorative in itself, the combination of natural materials, such as plaster and wood, along with Dekton and tiles, helps create a warm atmosphere without being overly plain," he adds.

This large family home located in Surrey has been designed for intensive daily use without compromising on a refined and timeless aesthetic. The project, led by Bell Lowry Design, involves a comprehensive renovation of a newly built house, aiming to enhance its original architecture through improved spatial flow, bespoke joinery, and a meticulous layering of materials. In this process, the ultra-compact Dekton surface and Sensa natural stone with stain-resistant protection by Cosentino play a key role.

More than a single-family home, Clavells, as this project is called, is a kind of oasis in raw and neutral colours, a haven of calm and tranquillity in Palmanyola, fifteen minutes from Palma de Mallorca. It is the latest project by Mallorca Heritage, and everything about it exudes good taste, sophistication, aesthetics, and a great deal of visual continuity thanks to the use of Dekton Avorio both indoors and outdoors.
