Upgraded recessed projection case will solve problem
For several years, projection screen manufacturers have been trying to solve a problem: Rough handling during transport or installation in a ceiling that is not completely level can cause a projection screen’s viewing surface to slide slightly on the roller, skewing the bottom dowel.
Draper Europe AB has announced a new upgrade to the award-winning recessed projection case Euroscreen® Sesame that will address this problem once and for all.
Sesame version 2.1 now features an adjustable inner bracket on each side of the case. This allows for fine-tuning of the bottom dowel to more precisely cover the opening gap in
the case. This allows the Sesame 2.1 closure to rest perfectly flush with the ceiling when screen is retracted up into case.
The Sesame case, available both as non-tensioned and tab tensioned model, has been recognized on multiple occasions with industry awards for its innovative construction. It features a unique removable end flange integrated with the case, and concealed drop function of the entire screen section. Easy access and fast installation makes the Sesame one of the AV installers’ favorite projection screens on the market. The Sesame model also saves a lot of
time-consuming work since there is no need to replace the entire ceiling just because a new screen roller or viewing surface needs to be installed.
The fine-tune feature is already shipping, and will be showcased in Draper Europe AB’s stand #1M22 during ISE 2012, 31 Jan-2 Feb in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
