Press release -
Nordic Organic Expo takes root in Malmö 2025
Renowned as the Nordic region’s leading trade fair for organic and natural products, Nordic Organic Expo is set to expand its reach and impact significantly during 2025. Under the direction of event organiser Easyfairs, the expo will take place annually at Malmömässan in Sweden - offering a strengthened platform for industry professionals, brands and innovators to connect and drive sustainable development forward.
Since 2012, Nordic Organic Expo has been the key meeting place for pioneers, innovators, growers, producers, retailers and visionaries in the sustainable market – all united by a shared goal: to create a more sustainable future through organic and natural choices. As both consumers and businesses increasingly seek trustworthy and greener alternatives, the relevance of Nordic Organic Expo continues to grow. This year’s event will take place the 19-20th of November at Malmömässan in Sweden.
Trends in focus
The expo will feature two main stages, hosting talks, trend insights and future outlooks on ecology, health and sustainable living – led by experts and thought leaders. This year’s stage theme will journey into the innovations that shape how we live, eat and care for ourselves - and uncover the trends of tomorrow.
Another anticipated highlight during the fair is the grand finale of the prestigious Årets Ekokock (Organic Chef of the Year) competition and Årets Offentliga Ekokock (Public sector chef of the year), co-hosted by Ekomatcentrum – a live experience where creativity, flavour and organic passion take centre stage.
International and Nordic exhibitors
Visitors will be able to explore hundreds of exhibitors from across the Nordic region and Europe – ranging from established brands to forward-thinking startups. The exhibition will showcase the latest in organic food and drink, natural beauty, household products, health and more.
"Moving the event permanently to Malmö was a natural choice for us. With its close ties to continental Europe, commitment to sustainability, and fantastic transport connections, it allows us to make Nordic Organic Expo even more accessible and open up new international opportunities", says Sofia Johansson, project manager for Nordic Organic Expo.
