Applied Value and Child10 scale up their collaboration to eliminate sexual exploitation of children

Applied Value and Child10 continue to join forces in the fight against child trafficking, this time, focusing especially on girls who have been victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation.

One in every three victims of human trafficking today is a child, most often, a girl. In fact, women and girls make up over 90% of all victims of human trafficking for sexual exploitation (UNODC). To address this heinous crime, there is an urgent need for cross-national and cross-sectoral collaboration to find durable long-term solutions and to provide support to organizations fighting at the grassroots level. After a successful joint program in 2020, Child10 and Applied Value will continue to expand their partnership in 2021 to support and strengthen organizations combating trafficking of girls for sexual exploitation across Europe.

It is undoubtedly one of the darkest subjects to address, however that is not a reason to shy away from it. The partnership will see Applied Value providing direct support to all ten Child10 Awarded Members for 2021. The support for these organizations will focus on strengthening the management and sustainability to scale the impact of their work and to address specific challenges affecting each organization.
