IVECO has announced that it is ready to resume production at its plants in Italy and Spain, which had been temporarily closed in March to protect employees and to contribute to the local governments’ measures for limiting the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.

The German-based cargo and freight company Hegelmann Group has acquired five trucks from vehicle manufacturer IVECO, powered by liquified natural gas (LNG). This as a part of its plan to have sustainable vehicles make up at least 20 percent of its total fleet by 2025.

IVECO-tillverkningsanläggning i Ulm, Tyskland kommer att utgöra produktionscentrum4 för Nikola TRE batterielektriska och bränslecellselektriska tunga lastbilar.
I samband med IVECO´s årliga Kick-off för norra Europa Köpenhamn delades flera utmärkelser ut. Till Årets Återförsäljare i Sverige 2020 utsågs Kihlströms Transport & Lastbilscenter i Stockholm.
IVECO and Nikola unveiled the maquette of their first battery electric vehicle (BEV) for European markets, the Nikola TRE, which is based on the IVECO S-WAY and integrates Nikola’s class-leading technology. The Nikola TRE is the first step on the path towards the Nikola fuel cell electric model (FCEV), which will be available to customers by 2023.
IVECO, FPT Industrial and Nikola held a joint event for the European press and industry stakeholders in Turin to present the scope of their partnership and its aggressive goal of achieving zero emissions. The joint venture unveiled the NIKOLA TRE – just three months after the announcement of the partnership.
Efter att företagets Crealis In-Motion-Charging utsetts till årets hållbara buss 2019 behåller IVECO BUS titeln i intercitykategorin med regiontrafikbussen Crossway Natural Power. Med denna nya utmärkelse befäster IVECO BUS sin ställning som den självklara ledaren i intercitysegmentet. Priset är också ett erkännande av företagets arbete inom energiomställning och alternativa bränslen.
IVECO startar ett nytt samarbete med Nordic Truckcenter den 1 november. I Malmö blir Nordic Truckcenter en ny auktoriserad återförsäljare av IVECO samt serviceverkstad för IVECO´s hela modellprogram – från 3,5-tons transportbilar upp till tunga lastbilar.
Från att ha startat som en liten verksamhet med plock från endast en butik i 2009, är det mycket som händer hos online-matbutiken MatHem. Verksamheten som tidigare i år blev uppköpt av Kinnevik – och vann prestigepriset ’Årets EKO-butik’ på EKO-galan 2018 – ligger idag på över en miljard i omsättning. Nu väljer man att inleda en satsning på klimatsmartare leveranser i storstäderna med biogasbilar.
