Svenska Aerogel received the Cleantech Company of the Year Award at Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day 2010

Svenska Aerogel received this year's Cleantech Company of the Year Award and the prize sum of 100 000 Swedish crowns. The reward ceremony completed Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day 2010 - Scandinavia's largest cleantech investment day.

The members of the jury were Rebecka Engström, Vinnova, Tor Kihlberg, Innovationsbron and Richard Treffner, Investor Growth Capital. Chairman of the jury was Tor Kihlberg. The jury ́s justification for the prize is:

“The winner is a company with a very scalable business model and a clear path to the a huge market. The benefits are obvious both for the customer and for the environment. The company has also shown the ability to express this live.”

"To be awarded "The Cleantech Company of the year 2010" - in tough competition such prominent Cleantech companies - was a fantastic finale of a great day. We really believe in the strength of our innovation and the power of our business model. Being awarded by the very professional organization STING is a true acknowledgement for us at Svenska Aerogel," says Anders Lundström, CEO of Svenska Aerogel AB, awarded Cleantech Company of the Year 2010.

Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day 2010 attracted about 50 international investors who encountered 25 of the most interesting cleantech companies in the Nordic region. The Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day 2010 is an event known for its success in bringing results when it comes to actual investments in new cleantech companies.
