The ABBA Dinner Show ’Mamma Mia! The Party’ to Liseberg
After a 4 year run in Stockholm and the successful September premiere in London, , Mamma Mia! The Party Dinner Show moves to Liseberg’s show venue Rondo. ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus, together with Andreas Andersen, CEO of Liseberg, today presented how Rondo will be transformed for the Mamma Mia! The Party, that will premiere in August 28 2020. Ticket sales starts on Tuesday October 29 2019.
The immersive show and dining experience that is Mamma Mia! The Party is built around one of the most successful musicals in music history.
Through a unique collaboration between Björn Ulvaeus, and Liseberg, it is now possible to present one of the most innovative entertainment concept in the world right now. After the success in Stockholm and London, the party now continues in Gothenburg – and short thereafter awaits Las Vegas, New York and Hamburg.
“The Gothenburg production of Mamma Mia! The Party will be our third. It will premiere just before Las Vegas. I am very happy that we can bring this production to the city where I was born”, says Björn Ulvaeus.
Liseberg’s show venue Rondo will from January to August 2020 be remodeled to the exotic Greek tavern of the main character Nikos, and the party will then premiere on August 28, 2020.
"This is the largest investment we have ever made in Rondo, which will celebrate it’s 80th anniversary next year. This will be a completely new entertainment concept for the whole of southern Sweden, and we are so very proud to welcome Mamma Mia! The Party to Rondo", says Andreas Andersen, CEO of Liseberg.
