New album from Melisha out today!
Today the album called 22 from Gothenburg-based music producer and artist Melisha is released. The songs are part of the project that was started in 2021 where Melisha releases one song a month.

Melisha Àr en svensk/norsk 100% DIY artist, ensamstÄende mamma till en pojke pÄ snart 16 Är med studio i Brewhouse sedan de senaste 10 Ären men har haft studion i totalt 22 Är. Hon har en kandidatexamen inom musikproduktion frÄn Högskolan Dalarna Hon brinner för DIY-konceptet dÄ hon slÀpper pÄ egen etikett men Àven skriver, producerar, mixar och mastrar musiken samt editerar och gör alla sina musikvideos sjÀlv.
I sommaren 2021 startade Melisha igÄng projektet #onesongamonth som innebÀr att hon slÀpper en lÄt i mÄnaden med tillhörande musikvideo, nÀrmare bestÀmt sista fredagen varje mÄnad.
Genom Ären har hon producerat, mixat och mastrat för andra artister och ocksÄ arbetat som pianobarsartist och DJ. NÀr pandemin kom och spelningarna försvann sÄ försvann Àven merparten av jobben vilket innebar att hon fick ta fler jobb inom sin andra utbildning som Àr som webbutvecklare med inrikting mot grafisk kommunikation, hemsidor och social media manager vilken i sin tur ledde till att hon fick tid över i studion för sina egna lÄtar och projekt.

ABOUT MELISHA
Melisha is a Swedish / Norwegian DIY producer / artist from Gothenburg with a studio in Brewhouse since the last 10 years but has had the studio for a total of 22 years. She has a Bachelor degree within music production from Dalarnas University, she attended a master's programme in audiovisual design (where a master's thesis is impatiently waiting to be completed.)
Produced for other artists but is now releasing her own music on her independent label.
Each song has its own atmosphere and soundscape and the creation of this is a big part of her creativity.
She has been a teacher within production at the University of Gothenburg, HSM, since 2017.
She co founded the non profit organization EQLovesMusic and has been the project manager for EQLovesFestival, which featured many famous female world names in music production, including Sylvia Massy, Linn FIjal, Leila Arab, Ebony Bones, Erin Tonkon, Gloria Kaba, Heba Kadry, Ana Diaz and many more.
In the summer of 2021, Melisha started the project #onesongamonth, which means that she releases one song a month with an accompanying music video, more precisely the last Friday of each month. How long will she be able to do this ?
