An edible installation by Foodcraft, a work on philological power of forms and textures in our eating habits.Tracing the various ways our conscience recognize a material and shapes it as edible and tasty. How do we ’eat with eyes’? Can we value the influence of our experience and memory on the attraction we have towards foods and forms? Small edible still-life are assembled using a library of materials traced within open combinations of colors and shapes. There is no a cooking process or recipes. Nothing but food ’matter’ to assembly as an exercise of building. A tabula rasa to anew our archive of images corresponding to tastes. A visual research on the edible materials, trying to deconstruct our senses and awareness in the eating process. Foodcraft is the result of a double vision on food creativity between the journalist and curator Patrizia Coggiola and the designer Francesca Lusuardi. Book at info@tempoitaliano.it
