RaceID launches new site

RaceID changes appearance and launches a new site updated with a whole new experience for race participants globally. The site is the result of years of experience in the industry combined with qualitative and quantitative consumer data derived from the RaceID platform.

- This is a huge step for RaceID as a company! Our mission is to inspire even more people to pursue an active lifestyle and with our new site, we align with our app experience plus substantially improve the way users interact with the platform, says RaceID CEO Erik Sjöbeck.

One of the key features on the new site is a significant improvement with how users find their next challenge. A new, powerful search tool combined with a revamped user-interface lets participants all over the world find more races faster. Participants are now also able to quickly find their favourite sports through direct links on the home page, which has been one of the most frequent requests from users.

The race registration checkout has been completely redesigned in order to make the process as smooth as possible. Additionally, new landing pages for race events allow organizers to showcase their products and services more effectively.

The RaceID Organizer site has also been transformed with a new design that clearly showcases RaceID’s complete Event Management offering. The ambition going forward is for the RaceID Organizer site to serve as the place where organizers pick up inspiration, find valuable insights and engage with the rest of the global Organizer community.

    - The development team has put a tremendous effort into this and the result is brilliant. RaceID truly has an exciting future now that we have established a strong base ready to build further on. We launched the platform in 2017, and have since then not updated the UX or UI significantly. This revamp clearly marks the new stage for the company - for RaceID to take the leading global position in the endurance sports market, says Erik Sjöbeck.

The growing RaceID community, with now nearly 150 000 participants from all over the world, will also be given several improvements to their profiles with additional features. By using the platform, users are able to engage in endurance events in over 40 countries. With a record number of events joining the platform in Q4 of 2021, RaceID is quickly becoming the go-to place for all races in endurance sports such as running, cycling, swimming, triathlon, OCR, multisport, Swimrun and more.
