  • Open for nominations: Arvid Carlsson Award by Sahlgrenska Science Park 2023

    The Arvid Carlsson Award by Sahlgrenska Science Park 2023 is now open for nominations. This marks the 7th consecutive year an entrepreneur within life science will be recognized at the Park Annual event in Gothenburg. Co-founded by Nobel laureate Arvid Carlsson and Sahlgrenska Science Park in 2017, the award celebrates innovation and knowledge in conjunction with good entrepreneurship.

    Mabel AI received the Healthtech Award 2023 at the opening of Vitalis, the largest ehealth event in Scandinavia. The award, a cooperation between GREAT, Vitalis and Sahlgrenska Science Park celebrates healthtech innovations that make a difference for people’s lives.

    HealthTech Award, celebrating healthtech innovations that make a difference for people’s lives, is now open for companies in the Nordics. This is the 3rd edition of the award by GREAT, Vitalis and Sahlgrenska Science Park, recognising innovative companies providing a healthtech solution or product.

  • Filip Peters won the Arvid Carlsson Award 2022

    This year’s Arvid Carlsson Award by Sahlgrenska Science Park was awarded to Filip Peters, Acorai, for turning smartphones into heart failure monitoring devices. With more than 60 million patients suffering from heart failure globally, the winner of the Arvid Carlsson Award is addressing a huge health and healthcare problem, by using new technologies to simplify the diagnosis and follow-up care.

  • Healthtech infuses the mobility industry

    Detectivio and Eyescanner, two companies within Sahlgrenska Science Park's Accelerator, break a barrier by becoming the first healthtech companies to enter the startup fast track at MobilityXlab and pioneer the mobility industry with their cutting-edge technologies.

  • Anders Hyltander won the Arvid Carlsson Award 2021

    Since 2017, Sahlgrenska Science Park pays tribute to innovation, knowledge and competence in conjunction with good entrepreneurship through this award in Nobel Prize laureate Arvid Carlsson’s name. This year’s Arvid Carlsson Award by Sahlgrenska Science Park was awarded to Anders Hyltander, Surgical Science.
