Sambla Group activates its Credit Market Company authorisation and enters the next phase of growth

Sambla Group has activated its authorisation as a Credit Market Company, commencing operations under the authorisation granted by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) in June 2026. This marks the next phase in the Group's development and strengthens its ability to expand its personal finance offering.

The activation means Sambla Group is now operating as a Credit Market Company under the regulatory framework applicable to credit institutions. The company’s core mission remains unchanged: helping customers understand their financial options and make informed financial choices.

“Activating our authorisation marks the transition from preparation to execution. It is an important milestone in our long-term strategy and provides a strong foundation for the next stage of Sambla Group’s development. Our focus remains on helping people navigate their personal finances with greater transparency, broader choice and better digital services,” says Hans Skruvfors, CEO of Sambla Group.

Over recent years, Sambla Group has expanded beyond loan brokering to offer a broader range of personal finance services, supporting customers across more aspects of their financial lives. The activation creates further opportunities to develop new products and services over time, including within savings and other areas of personal finance.

The company’s role as an independent broker in personal finance remains unchanged. Transparency, consumer choice and clear information will continue to be at the heart of its offering, helping people understand and access financial products on equal terms while strengthening competition across the market.

“Customer trust is the foundation of our business. As we enter this new phase, our commitment to transparency and independence remains as strong as ever. We want to continue empowering people by making personal finance easier to understand, while contributing to a more transparent and competitive financial market,” says Hans Skruvfors.

Sambla Group has been supervised by Finansinspektionen for many years. The authorisation process as a Credit Market Company involved an extensive review of the Group's governance, capital structure, risk management and operational capabilities. Operating as a Credit Market Company provides a strong foundation for the company's continued long-term growth.

The milestone reinforces Sambla Group's ambition to strengthen its position as the Nordic region's leading independent broker in personal finance and the trusted financial partner for consumers throughout every stage of life.
