Sanofi (EURONEXT: SAN and NYSE: SNY) today announced that detailed results from the pivotal Phase III VELOUR study evaluating ZALTRAP® (aflibercept) Injection for Intravenous Infusion for the treatment of patients with previously treated metastatic colorectal cancer were published in the October 2012 edition of the Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO).

Sanofi and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: REGN) today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved ZALTRAP® (ziv-aflibercept) Injection for Intravenous Infusion, in combination with 5-fluorouracil, leucovorin, irinotecan (FOLFIRI), for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer that is resistant to or has progressed following an oxaliplatin-containing regimen.
