When the world disappears: Elin Andersson shares her inspiring journey in a lecture at Sara kulturhus

On April 29th, Elin Andersson will visit Sara kulturhus to deliver her lecture "When the world disappears". Elin Andersson, from Skellefteå, was born with an incurable eye disease that gradually deteriorates her vision. Despite having about 30% vision as a child, it has now decreased to only about 6%. The disease entails a progressive deterioration of vision without the possibility of correction or treatment.

In her lecture, Elin shares how she defies her illness and disability. She has chosen to live life to the fullest, in ways that are possible for her. With a focus on moving forward, she has challenged herself, learned, and overcome more than she thought possible. Elin recounts how her mindset and determination have helped her master challenges and adapt to the constant change in her life.

Elin Andersson is a trained high school and middle school teacher in German/English with 16 years of teaching experience. She is also an ICF-certified coach and now runs her own company, Blindspot Development, where she works as a lecturer and coach.

This is a story that provides perspective and inspiration to defy personal fears and obstacles. Elin reminds us of the importance of being strong and brave, not giving up but continuing to fight to achieve our goals and dreams.
