Mr Nolan Bushnell on stage in Skövde

Swedish Game Conference proudly presents the Father of the Video Game Industry!
Mr. Nolan Bushnell is a legendary profile to anyone with a particular interest in video games and his appearance at SGC will be very inspirational to the students and young video game entrepreneurs in the audience.
"It’s an absolute honor having the founder of Atari and a true icon on stage in Skövde", says project manager Sebastian Badylak.

About Mr Nolan Bushnell
Nolan K. Bushnell (born February 4, 1943) is an American engineer and entrepreneur who founded both Atari, Inc and the Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza-Time Theaters chain. Bushnell has been inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame and the Consumer Electronics Association Hall of Fame, received the BAFTA Fellowship and the Nations Restaurant News “Innovator of the Year” award, and was named one of Newsweek's "50 Men Who Changed America." Bushnell has started more than twenty companies and is one of the founding fathers of the video game industry. He is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Game Designer of Anti-Aging Games, a website of games designed to stimulate the brain and created by Bushnell and two doctorate scientists.

  • Computer game conference was a success

    Skövde: Simply put, Swedish Game Conference in Gothia Science Park, Skövde was a big success. This is the verdict of some 200 participants, international speakers and organizer. “We are enormously satisfied with the reactions on the conference .     Stunlock Studios AB, a start-up company based in Skövde, Sweden, has signed a publishing agreement with Funcom. Funcom will publish, operate and provide customer support for the multi-player arena game ‘Bloodline Champions,’ which is currently in the later stages of beta testing. The game is an arena-based player vs. player game featuring unique and action-packed gameplay for up to ten people.

  • Enchanting Wisp to charm iOS with Nordic harmony

    Skövde, Sweden – June 14, 2011 – Swedish indie developer Triolith Entertainment is making a backwards journey compared to other developers, as it’s taking its popular title Wisp from Android to Apple iOS. The game will be released to the Apple Appstore on June 15, 2011. Triolith is a one of the game companies in Gothia Science Park in Skövde.
