Amongst the bloggers to keep track of at SIME is Frida Nelhans. Time to say hello!

Hi and welcome Frida! What is it you do?
– I have my own company with two main areas that I focus on. One of them is  to work with designing interactions in order to optimize and increase the usability in each and every product that is being developed no matter if it’s being used online or physically. The other area is communication development in social media in order to strengthen a specific brand and / or build a market plan.  It happens quite often that I get to hold lectures and workshops on different topics in my areas such as; personal branding, strategic branding in social media, how to build strategies in social media, interaction design for web developers, interaction design for app developers and a lot more.

And what are you especially interested in?
– My interests are and will always be in you, me, us and them. It fascinates me why we do what we do and say what we feel and do something in the opposite. In the end of the day it all comes down to the human brain and what goes on inside of there and how it connects us with our environment, the things we use in our everyday life and a lot more.

How do you interpret the SIME Stockholm main topic, ‘the future is back on track’?
– Change comes and goes in waves. To be able to implement what we understood as being what we say is “change” right here and now we need to understand it, use it and feel it. Not just for the moment but for quite some time. To be able to catch up with “new waves” i.e new changes, we need to be over and done with what we have been doing. To understand and accept what the future has to teach us we need to be able to listen and learn. And now “the future is back on track”. We are ready for it, again. We are here to listen and learn.

And finally – what are you looking forward to the most at SIME?
– I am especially looking forward to the sessions Time travel adventures, The internet of everything, Winning the innovation game and Architects of the future.
