Årets mottagare av Stockholm Visionary Award Sam Mendes besöker Stockholm i samband med filmen Empire of Lights som får nordisk premiär under Stockholms filmfestival fredagen den 11 november och erhåller då festivalen pris för visionära filmskapare med en unik blick för hantverket.
Under Stockholms internationella filmfestival tilldelas Stockholm Achievement Award 2022 till den flerfaldigt kritikerrosade och folkkäre skådespelaren Fares Fares. Han tar emot Bronshästen i samband med filmen Boy from Heavens nordiska premiär på Skandia onsdagen den 9:e november.
The festival is brimming with excitement, presenting 130 films from 50 countries, 13 of which are international Oscar-nominated films. The program also features a selection of films for digital screenings via Festival on Demand*. The festival takes place between the 9th and 20th of November, opening with Sweden's Academy Award submission.
