On December 9 and 10 the Public Services Summit will be held in Stockholm. The theme for this year's conference is "From Crisis to Opportunity - Reinventing the Public Sector". Since 2002 the city of Stockholm and Cisco Systems host this annual meeting on how the public sector uses ICT to improve services to citizens.

Since 2002 the City of Stockholm and Cisco Systems co-operates in this annual meeting on how public sector uses ICT to improve the service to the citizens.
Den 9-10 december genomförs mötet Public Services Summit 2009 i Stockholm. Temat för årets möte är “Connect to the Future: Innovating in Challenging times”. Sedan 2002 samarbetar Stockholms stad med Cisco Systems i detta internationella möte kring hur offentlig verksamhet använder informations- och kommunikationsteknologi för att förbättra servicen till medborgarna.
Stockholms stad har utsetts till Europas miljöhuvudstad år 2010, bland annat för att miljöfrågor ingår som en naturlig delav verksamheternas dagliga arbete.
