Är du ute efter en riktigt intressant hotellupplevelse? Glöm metropoler, megastäder och hotspots. I onsdags kväll utsågs Stora Hotellet Umeå till världens bästa nya boutiquehotell 2014 på World Boutique Hotel Awards gala i London.
Tre svenska bidrag har i höst chans att vinna hotell- och restaurangvärldens mest prestigefyllda tävlingar inom inredning och design. De nominerade är Stora Hotellet i Umeå, dess restaurang Gotthards Krog samt restaurangen och baren Cuckoo's Nest på Lindholmen i Göteborg. Bakom samtliga bidrag står Göteborgsbaserade design- och arkitektbyrån Stylt Trampoli.
Cuckoo's Nest, our ingenious and slightly mad hotel restaurant in the Radisson Blu Riverside on Lindholmen in Gothenburg, has been nominated for another prestigious award.
We're thrilled that Gotthards Krog, the hotel restaurant of our pride and joy Stora Hotellet Umeå, is the only Swedish project shortlisted for a European Hotel Design Award this year! The winners will be announced on 25 November... cross your fingers for Gotthards!
Five recent Stylt projects have been shortlisted in the International Hotel & Property Awards (hosted by Design et al magazine) and The Restaurant and Bar Design Awards.
