Press release -

Tech Invest North is restructuring to leverage more synergies and deliver large-scale projects

Tech Invest North (TIN) is making changes in organizational structure and management with the purpose of developing synergies between the different functions and accelerating growth.

Tech Invest North has grown steadily since its establishment in 2019 and today has a headcount of 60 employees around Sweden and in California in USA. Following the restructuring, the different companies that form the Group will continue as five business areas, each with its own operative leadership. Grepit focuses on technology consulting and embedded systems, Zpark on e-mobility and charging solutions, Lasercom on laser cutting, Innovative Living on smart housing, and Netcoil on cloud computing.

The new executive management team will focus on supporting the different business areas. The team will be led by Group CEO Jimmy Abrahamsson and also include Johan Eriksson as Head of Technology, Andreas Lundqvist as Head of Sales, and Mikael Nyström as Head of Finances. Each business area will operate in direct proximity with the business.

“The restructuring is a natural step as we continue our growth and look to new markets. We are a matrix of different functions that together can leverage even more synergies to deliver larger scale projects and, for instance, develop our combined manufacturing. Earlier this fall, we purchased Lasercom, which had both Grepit and Zpark as its clients. Now, we wish to scale-up this type of cooperation between the different functions,” Jimmy Abrahamsson, Group CEO of Tech Invest North says.

The organizational changes come into effect immediately, and Mikael Nyström will join Tech Invest North as of 10 November 2022. In line with the changes, the CEO of Zpark Jan-Tony Abrahamsson will step down from his current role.
