Port of Trelleborgs's new CEO

Jörgen Nilsson, 51 years old, takes over as CEO of the Port of Trelleborg. He replaces current CEO Tommy Halén, who has chosen to move on to new challenges.

- We are pleased that we have found a new CEO, who can continuethe work on the port's relocation, expansion and further development. Port of Trelleborg with a planned expansion of the port has major challenges and investments ahead of the next few years. We are convinced that Jörgen Nilsson will continue to push the company's development further forward, says Torbjörn Karlsson, Chairman of the Port of Trelleborg.

Jörgen Nilsson comes from a position as vice president of DHL Freight Sverige AB. He has long and solid experience in transport and logistics, and has a good knowledge of the region's business community and development.

- It is a big challenge and will be extremely exciting to lead the business and contribute to the further positive development of the Port of Trelleborg. A good company with large scale challenges and investments ahead, says Jörgen Nilsson.

Admission date is not yet decided but the ambition is that it will be as soon as possible after the summer vacation.
