DSV Control Tower Logistics needs a flexible Transport Management System

DSV Control Tower Logistics is a part of DSV Air&Sea Sweden (1,2 billion SEK turnover) and works as a 4PL logistics provider and control tower for all transport modes for Swedish and semi global customers. DSV Control Tower Logistics is an independent organization within DSV, that help DSV customers to build and run comprehensive supply chain solutions for clients. To be able to do this in an effective way DSV Control Tower Logistics needs a flexible Transport Management System with possibility to book DSV shipments but also shipment from other logistic providers, a so called non-stop shop.

“We have worked with many different Transport Management Systems but my experience with Unifaun is that it is a premium product. With Unifaun you get a really good product that is very connected and always updated with new carriers and the changes the carriers make”, says Frédh Segerblad, General Manager Control Tower Logistics at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics.

The solution gives both DSV Control Tower Logistics and their customers the possibility to book, track, follow up and make changes depending on the needs in each supply chain solution.

The Unifaun solution makes it possible for DSV Control Tower Logistics with relatively few personnel, to monitor and manage complicated setups. In addition to this, DSV can always pick the perfect logistics provider for the customers depending on the customer’s needs.
