Julian Stubbs to be speaker at Smarta Platser Place Marketing event in Jönköping May 24th

Destination Jönköping will be holding a place marketing event called Smarta Platser on May 24th. One of the keynote speakers will be Julian Stubbs, founder of *UP There, Everywhere - the new Global Cloud Based Advertising Agency. Julian is a brand strategist who has worked closely with the destination marketing business. 

In Sweden he is best known as the person behind the brand positioning for Stockholm and the tag line ‘Stockholm, The Capital of Scandinavia’. Most recently Julian has been involved in the re-launch of the Hollywood brand Technicolor and has worked on the repositioning of their Thomson and RCA television brands. In April 2011 he was invited to work on developing a new identity for The Nobel Peace Prize Concert, which was launched in December 2011.

He is currently working with the branding of Sigtuna and the development of Airport City Stockholm.

Julian regularly performs brand workshops around the world for companies or organisations who are going through a change process or need to refresh their brand identity and thinking.

His first business book, titled ‘Wish You Were Here’, on the branding of Stockholm and city destinations was published in early 2011.

Julian lives in Stockholm, Sweden and is married with two sons. He is a life long Liverpool Football Club supporter and tries to get to as many games during a season as possible.
