Catch Nanjing 2014 YOG LIVE online with Atos Olympic Video Player

Another game-changing moment for the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games. Atos, the chief IT System Integrator for the YOG, has launched the Olympic Video Player for the first time in the history of the Youth Olympic Games, and just in time for the much anticipated Opening Ceremony on 16 August 2014 too! Sports buffs worldwide can now catch all sporting actions LIVE online and on their mobile devices anytime, anywhere at http://nanjing.ovp.olympic.tv/ .

The Olympic Video Player is similar to the Sport Media Application in Real Time (SMART) player, which was developed specifically for the London 2012 Paralympic Games, combines a range of features in a single, easy-to-navigate view, including:

  • Live coverage of sporting events
  • Real-time results information
  • Updated statistics and athlete biographies
  • IPC news and social media updates
  • A Video on Demand (VoD) function for key events
Just like the SMART player, the Olympic Video Player was developed by Atos for the Olympic Movement to increase viewing opportunities and showcase the sporting excellence and Olympic Spirit of the youth athletes at Nanjing 2014. With the Olympic Video Player, Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games is set to reach the biggest audience in the event’s history.
