Singapore Changi Airport handled 4.78 million passenger movements in November 2016, a 3.2% increase compared to the same period last year. Aircraft movements grew by 3.4% at 29,710 landings and takeoffs, while cargo shipments rose to 173,170 tonnes, a 7.9% year-on-year increase.

Construction of Changi Airport Terminal 4 Completed

Changi Airport Group (CAG) announced today the completion of construction for its new passenger terminal building, Terminal 4 (T4). Having achieved the Temporary Occupancy Permit for T4 this month, marking the completion of the construction phase, the next stage of development will be focused on its interior fittings, as well as preparing it for operations.

Main construction contractor appointed for second package of works to develop Changi Airport’s three-runway system

Changi Airport Group (CAG) announced today the award of a S$1.107 billion contract to a joint venture formed by Hock Lian Seng Infrastructure and Sembcorp Design and Construction, for the second package of works relating to the development of a three-runway system at Singapore Changi Airport.
