A Win-Win Tie Up for Baby Wipes

Collaborations between multinationals and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can bring about positive benefits for both parties, as consumer goods giant Kimberly-Clark Asia Pacific and Singapore engineering company Essential Engineering and Construction (EEC) discovered.   

The companies' recent partnership enabled the development of the manufacturing capability for a new line of baby wipes made in Singapore, and was named Most Transformational Collaboration at the SICC Awards 2017.

Kimberly-Clark's vice-president of product supply in Asia-Pacific, Peter D'Silva, and EEC's managing director, Lee Kwok Kuen, tell The Straits Times about their partnership.
