Kimberly-Clark China's new Tianjin mill has begun operations. The advanced manufacturing facility will focus on the production of Huggies products to meet consumers’ growing needs of world-class, quality baby care products.

Rising consumption levels and the relaxation of the one child policy have led to an increased demand for premium diapers. The Tianjin mill will effectively expand the manufacturing capacity of Huggies products and accelerate its delivery into the market to reach more Chinese infants and their parents.

Strategically located in the Tianjin Airport Economic Area, the new facility features a fully-automated production line with integrated operations, including an R&D laboratory and manufacturing and distribution center. Adhering to Kimberly-Clark’s sustainability strategy, the facility is designed according to the internationally recognized LEED standards (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), established by the U.S. Department of Energy and Green Building Association.

"Kimberly-Clark China will continue to make world-class products accessible to Chinese consumers through sustainable manufacturing to lead the world in essentials for a better life.”
