Sigma continues to grow in R&D

Sigma IT Consulting continues to invest in its already expansive R&D area. One of the focus areas is the automotive industry where new services in both Autonomous vehicles and Electromobility drive technology development forward at a fast pace.

Ulf Ödesjö has been recruited to Sigma IT Consulting as Business Area Manager to lead the expansion within R&D. Ulf has worked as Vice President Product Development at Arcam AB and has a long experience in automotive with different roles at AB Volvo, such as development manager for Volvo's connected services. At Sigma Ulf is responsible for the R&D operations in Stockholm and Gothenburg, and the company expect to extend to several locations in Sweden and also with delivery from Sigma's units in Poland and Ukraine.

– Ulf Ödesjö will, with his solid experience from the automotive industry, lead our expansion within R&D. Today we have our largest delivery in telecom, and we have many talented senior consultants with experience in automotive. With these consultants at the forefront, we will ensure to create value for customers in other areas as well. Sigma has long experience within IT and that is perhaps what most associate Sigma with. What not so many might be aware of is our deep expertise within R&D, says Dan Jonsson, director of Professional Services.
