Sigma Connectivity has entered into an agreement with Qualcomm Services Ltd. in which the parties will collaborate to simplify, accelerate, and scale the development and deployment of IoT solutions for enterprises through the use of the Qualcomm Aware™ Platform’s observability, monitoring, and location capabilities across Sigma Connectivity’s portfolio of products. This collaboration brings together Qualcomm Technologies’ industry-leading IoT and Edge AI technologies with Sigma Connectivity’s world-class hardware, software, and network expertise, to enable seamless IoT innovation at scale, allowing customers to rapidly deploy intelligent and cutting-edge solutions across a wide range of industrial, manufacturing, and service-based IoT products.

As part of this collaboration, Sigma Connectivity will act as a key channel partner and value-added reseller of the Qualcomm Aware Platform services suite, which will be enabled initially on the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ QCM6490 processor followed by other chipsets from the Qualcomm Technologies portfolio, to offer a wide range of solutions that help enterprises develop, deploy, scale, and manage IoT devices that address challenges across any number of industries.
