Sigma Embedded Engineering opens a new office in Krakow, Poland

Sigma Embedded Engineering is establishing operations in Poland to strengthen its delivery capacity and foster collaboration with international customers. The focus will be on development within areas such as automotive, medical technology, and industrial IoT solutions.

Sigma Embedded Engineering is expanding its international presence by opening a new office in Krakow, Poland. This establishment marks an important step in the company’s growth strategy and enhances its ability to deliver advanced embedded system solutions to customers across Europe.

– Opening an office in Krakow is a strategic decision that enables us to meet the growing demand for our services. We see Poland as a key market and are very pleased to build a strong local team, says Pontus Kastrup, CEO of Sigma Embedded Engineering Group.

Krakow is a rapidly growing technology hub with strong academic connections and access to highly skilled engineers – making the city a natural choice for the company’s continued expansion. The new office will focus on development within areas such as automotive technology, medical devices, and industrial IoT solutions.

The Polish operation will be led by Marta Cencora, an experienced leader within the engineering consulting industry with deep roots in the Polish IT and engineering sectors.

The new office in Krakow will be fully operational during autumn 2025, with recruitment activities already underway. The goal is to have around 30 employees engaged in assignments within the first year.
