Press release -

Sigma Technology and GO Nordic join forces to help companies in Karlskrona with competence supply and retention

Sigma Technology and GO Nordic are launching the concept GO Connect – a private, local initiative with the ambition to be a driving force in the work with Karlskrona’s biggest challenge and opportunity in the coming years; competence supply and immigration.

Sigma Technology, a leading provider of technology consulting and IT solutions in Sweden, is pleased to announce its collaboration with GO Nordic.

Malin Andersson, Unit Manager at Sigma Technology, says: “We are very proud to start this collaboration with GO Nordic. GO Connect is a unique and valuable initiative that will help us attract and retain the best talents in Karlskrona. We have extensive experience in recruiting people from all over the world but have encountered the challenge of making them feel comfortable and staying in Karlskrona. We are, therefore, also very excited to be the first customer to use GO Connect’s products and services. This will help us create a professional welcome.”

GO Connect contains a range of business services gathered on one platform. There is a dashboard for documents, products, and services, such as ordering work permits, pick-up services, and introductions to various networks and authorities.

For talents, GO Connect offers personal service and hospitality throughout the employment journey. Among the services available, are the Contact Center for curious questions, pick-up, and welcome as well as smooth guidance in the bureaucratic jungle.

The platform also contains the social component GO Social, where the employees of the companies can find like-minded individuals and easily be included in their new hometown. Calendar, blog, and newsletter are features that will engage and inspire new and old employees.

Terje Viblom Pedersen, CEO of GO Nordics, comments: “Sigma Technology has been completely central in the process before and during the development of the GO Connect platform. I am very happy that the company has decided to become our first customer. It is an important confirmation of our efforts to be proactive in helping companies attract, welcome, and retain employees in Karlskrona.

GO Nordics ambition is to also assist other cities facing the same challenges.
