On Monday, August 25 Digital Health Days will open at Stockholmsmässan. It’s a two-day conference focusing on how advances in information technology can enhance future health and social care.
Formex, Scandinavia's largest meeting place for interior design, ended this weekend. Over four days, the interior design and gift industry gathered at Stockholmsmässan to place orders for the fall season and view the latest trends.
Motivation: Line Depping is the winner of the Nova Award 2014 for her self-explanatory and esthetically assured design. Her design is minimalistic and clearly rooted in a classic Scandinavian tradition; and while the same can be said of many other contemporary Nordic designers, very few of them achieve the same mastery as Line.
At the Formex interior design and gifts fair on 13-16 August, Lotta Ahlvar will be presenting a daily inspirational talk on the theme “Sustainability Trends”. She will be on stage talking to different guests, including fashion designer Lars Wallin, artist Lina Sofia Lundin, and designers Katarina Evans and Katarina Brieditis.
Livstycket is a contemporary knowledge and design center in Tensta, where women from around the world are active. Livstycket’s textile prints will be on display at the Formex interior design and gift fair, August 13–16, and the patterns for print and embroidery will be demonstrated in workshops. Formex will also feature an exhibition of favorites among this spring's design school graduates.
