In 2024, Stockholmsmässan has solidified its position as a leading meeting place with 114 events, including major international congresses and corporate events. This means that the venue has facilitated nearly 800,000 people from 128 different countries to meet, develop, be inspired, and learn something new within its walls.
Stockholm Furniture Fair Talks 2025 brings together some of the leading voices in the design and architecture industry. Curated in collaboration with Dezeen and Designo Journal, the programme features prominent names such as Faye Toodgood, Ineke Hans, Ini Archibong as well as Snøhetta, Schemata Architects and Clap Studio.
From January 17–19, 2025, Stockholmsmässan will once again transform into the Nordic region's most important meeting place for interior design: Formex. A sneak peek into the trends of spring is already available, drawn from the Formex Trend Guide – a biannual source of inspiration created in collaboration with trend expert Jan Rundgren.
For 2025, Stockholm Furniture Fair introduces Industry Talks – a seminar programme focusing on today’s most relevant topics in the design industry, with a special emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and circular transformation.
On January 17, Formex – the Nordic region's most important meeting place for interior design – opens its doors. As usual, selected designers will showcase their products in the Formex Design Talents area. One of these designers will also be awarded the title “Best in Show.”
Six strong contenders have been nominated for the Formex Sustainability Award 2025. This marks the third year that exhibiting companies have had the opportunity to submit their products, and the jury’s winner will be announced at the fair in January.
Materials, sustainability and innovation take center stage at three unique design bars devised by Fyra, Emma Olbers and All Matters Studio for the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February.
Greenhouse is Stockholm Furniture Fair’s dedicated platform for emerging designers, serving as a springboard for up-and-coming talents shaping the tomorrow. The 2025 exhibitors celebrate sustainability, ancient craftmanship, and cultural expression. Designers present unique projects that challenge conventions through innovative materials, methods, and narratives.
From 17th to 19th January 2025, the year's first Formex will take place. A key highlight will be the main exhibition in the entrance square, which this time is being created by the digital creator Kristin “Krickelin” Lagerqvist. With her unique approach to creativity and expression, Lagerqvist will transform the entrance area into a living home with a focus on craftsmanship.
In August 2023, Stockholmsmässan was presented with a challenge – to host a grand awards gala for a European company celebrating its top salespeople from across the globe. With a guest list of 2,000 and expectations for a spectacular and unforgettable experience, Stockholmsmässan became the natural choice, thanks to the venue's ability to provide flexible, versatile and high-tech facilities.
The renowned designer and artist Faye Toogood is the 20th Guest of Honour at Stockholm Furniture Fair. Her installation, MANUFRACTURE, is dedicated to the hands of craft, with her private archive of maquettes taking centre stage to encourage a dialogue about the maker and the making.
Stockholm Furniture Fair is excited to announce Kustaa Saksi as the Guest Creative for the 2025 edition, marking the first time the fair is inviting a creative visionary to craft the fair’s artwork.
