Formex Presents Design Talents – August 2025

On August 26, 2025, Formex – the Nordic region’s leading meeting place for interior design – will open its doors once again. Design Talents is a dedicated area for emerging designers who have not yet established themselves in the industry, providing a platform where they can showcase their work to buyers, producers, and the media. To mark Formex’s 65th anniversary, the prize pool is being further expanded.

Design Talents was launched in 2008 with the aim of supporting the next generation of creatives in their professional development. It serves as a springboard into the design world — a place where several of today’s renowned designers began their careers. In addition to the prestigious Best in Show award, a new category is being introduced:
Most Inspiring Booth – recognizing creative expression and overall exhibition experience.

The winner of Best in Show will receive coaching, a comprehensive marketing package, a free exhibition space at Formex 2026, and a night at Bank Hotel – an opportunity to both strengthen their brand and further develop their creative practice.
