Press release -
Formex presents the first Design Talents of 2026
When Formex opens its doors in January, the industry’s attention once again turns to Design Talents – the platform where the designers of tomorrow step forward to meet buyers, producers and media. This is where creative expressions and new ideas are presented, shaping the future of interior design.
Since its launch in 2008, Design Talents has served as a springboard for emerging creatives and is a highly regarded feature at Formex. Over the years, the platform has been the starting point for several designers and craftspeople who are now well-established names in the industry. With a strong focus on innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainability, Design Talents continues to support designers in their professional development.
The winner of the Design Talents Best in Show award receives coaching, an extensive marketing package, and a complimentary exhibition stand at the next edition of Formex. The award is designed to provide both long-term business value and creative growth.

Each year, Formex awards a scholarship to a student from the programme Form at Beckmans College of Design.
One selected student is awarded an exhibition stand and marketing support at the following Formex fair. This year, the scholarship was awarded to Anna Nyman, who graduated in May 2025. The work she will present at Formex is titled SÅHÄR, a product series designed for home cultivation.
Formex takes place at Stockholmsmässan on 20–22 January 2026 and welcomes national and international buyers, designers, producers, stylists, and media representatives.
