The first 140 healthcare beds in the external hospital at Stockholmsmässan have been completed and are ready to be inspected and put to use at 11:00 on Wednesday. Last week, 200 employees from Stockholmsmässan began building together with Region Stockholm and Locum. Today Stockholmsmässan is gearing up with an additional 50 people to ensure that an additional 600 beds will be ready for Easter. The
New dates have finally been set for Nordbygg, which is moved to the September 29 – October 2, 2020. – We have received extremely good response and understanding regarding the decision to postpone Nordbygg. After the decision from the Swedish government to limit public gatherings, Nordbygg will be postponed until the end of September 2020 instead of April 21-24 as earlier planned.
Until further notice Stockholmsmässan will not conduct events with more than 500 people. This is a result of today’s directions issued by the Swedish government to limit public gatherings due to the recent increase of the spread of COVID-19 in Sweden.
Nordbygg is seen by European actors in the construction sector as an increasingly important place to be. This year, one in five exhibitors is an international company.
This year, ventilation issues will have an even more expanded role at Nordbygg, when the industry organisation Svensk Ventilation (Swedish Ventilation) comes together with Svensk Automation (Swedish Automation) on the new stage - The Indoor Climate Arena.
