First recording ever by a Scandinavian violinist of the Paganini 24 Caprices released!

Swedish violin virtuoso Jan Stigmer’s recording of the 24 caprices by Niccolo Paganini has been realesed. This is the first recording by a Scandinavian violinist of the complete cycle.

Jan Stigmer has for many years received high acclaim from audiences and critics alike for his personal and communicative style of playing. Since his early twenties he has toured extensively and he has performed with some of the world top orchestras such as the English Chamber Orchestra and the Moscow Chamber Orchestra.

The recording of the 24 caprices by Niccolo Paganini has been released worldwide and is now available in all major record stores. It marks the first of Jan Stigmer’s three recordings of virtuoso violin music.
