Tillberg Design of Sweden designs all of Hurtigrutens new Rolls Royce expedition ships. Hurtigruten has named its two new expedition ships after the Norwegian polar pioneers, MS Roald Amundsen and MS Fridtjof Nansen. These will be the first ships in the world that use all-electric hybrid technology.
The most luxurious ship ever built has now set sail, as Seven Seas Explorer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises was christened in Monaco on July 13, 2016.
The complete makeover of four out of five coastal ships for Hurtigruten are soon finished. Ms Kong Harald, MS Polarlys, MS Nordkapp, MS Spitsbergen are now delivered and Nordnorge will come later this year.
Mein Schiff 5 has left the shipyard in Turku. She was delivered on the 20th of June, 10 days ahead of schedule and a Record building time of 18 month!
As Tillberg Design of Sweden has another successful year, the company just keeps growing with now over 80 people in its crew!
