Adder’s Operations Team Celebrate Apprenticeship Success

Adder is excited to celebrate the hard work and dedication shown by its new level three certified apprentices!

Tom Pritchard, Delyan Ivanov, and Jacob Tancock, have each completed a detailed 18-month team leading program which consisted of on and off the job assessments and training. The course, designed to provide skills, build knowledge, and drive behaviors, will support them to become effective team leaders.

Through CPD, training and assessments, apprentices are taught vital skills in team leadership, relationship building, decision-making, and various areas of management – all of which will set them on their way to a long and successful career.

Stuart Mitchell, manufacturing manager at Adder, says, “Adder’s operations team is always looking for new ways of working and strives to maintain a culture of continuous improvement. The apprenticeships enable us to see new and different ways of how we go about doing things.”

Following the successful completion of the course, our apprentices were awarded their final certificate, which demonstrates competence against all of the requirements set out in the apprentice standard, and is recognition of both effort and commitment.

When asked what they would take away from the course:

Newly-certified warehouse coordinator, Tom, said, “My biggest takeaway will be the ability to manage my time and team successfully - along with identifying both my learning and leadership style.”

Production coordinator, Delyan, commented, “I am looking forward to sharpening my people skills in order to work with people in the most professional and productive way.”

Jacob, compliance coordinator, added, “I came away from the course with the confidence to utilize an abundance of new skills. The whole course was enjoyable, and I loved every minute of it!”
