Team Adder Goes the Extra Mile!
March 8th 2020 sees the eight annual Cambridge half marathon, and this year sees a team of Adder employees joining in the festivities.
With thousands of participants each year, the half marathon has become a staple in the city’s event calendar, however this year it returns with a brand-new route. The runners will pass by some of the most iconic University colleges including Jesus and Kings as well as some of the city’s other famous sights.
Hoping to continue Adder’s electric start to 2020, Team Adder will be hoping to tackle the 13.1 mile (21km) run in record time. The team has been training hard - some even dedicating their lunch break to training by going for runs around Bar Hill.
Running alongside Team Adder will be Patrice Romano, owner of our trusted partner Camax, and his daughter Carolina. Patrice and Carolina are traveling all the way from Milan to take part and will be running to raise money for a host of charities, including Young Minds. Carolina, who will be taking part in her first-ever marathon, only started running 4 months ago. She aims to finish the marathon in 2 hours 45 minutes, hopefully pipping her Dad to the finish!
