Toy Fair’s Hero Toys List Announced at Toy Fair 2020
(London, UK) 21 January, 2020– The British Toy & Hobby Association today announced the Toy Fair’s Hero Toys for 2020, with Character Options, LEGO, and Spin Master amongst the winners.
The Toy Fair’s Hero Toys list consists of 25 products launched at Toy Fair, which opened today at Olympia, London. They have been judged by an independent panel of retailers, and the BTHA itself, to be the most exciting and creative toys unveiled at the event.
All are due to be released over the next 12 months and between them they cover a wide variety of price points, age ranges and play patterns. From gooey superheroes to a flossing sloth, the list covers everything from major licenses to eco-friendly plush toys.
“With hundreds of companies from all over the world, launching thousands of new toys throughout the show, the competition to make the Toy Fair’s Hero Toys list is fierce. Judging this year was harder than ever,” commented Rebecca Deeming, Public Relations & Events Manager for the BTHA.
“The result, however, is a list packed with innovation, fun, and potentially huge sellers for 2020. Together, they represent the best of our industry and the benefits children of all ages get from playing with quality toys.”

Toy Fair is the UK’s largest dedicated toy, game and hobby trade exhibition taking place at Olympia London. The event takes place over three days at the end of January each year and plays host to hundreds of exhibitors, from start-ups to some of the biggest toy companies, launching thousands of new toy lines.
