In agriculture, nature sets the timing: Seizing the right moment can often make or break the successful growth of plants, animals, and businesses. That is why BPW AGRAR is putting the uptime of agricultural vehicles and machinery at the heart of its Agritechnica presentation: At Booth D05 in Hall15, BPW will showcase intelligent, digitized running gear and all-round service concepts.

BPW gets its grips on the brake force of unsprung agricultural machinery

Unsprung agricultural and forestry vehicles are feared obstacles on the road, and not only at harvest time: their brakes can only be adjusted by hand – a rather fiddly and risky guesswork. The EU has therefore tightened regulations. The answer from BPW is as simple as it is ingenious: with a patent-pending fully mechanical system, drivers now have the brakes quite literally in their hands.

The Ermax tail light is made of polycarbonate with an impact resistant 17 times higher than that of conventional acrylic or ABS used in the automotive industry.

Agriculture 4.0: Total transparency in driving, loading, spreading, feeding and weighing with the BPW AGRO Hub weighing system

Contractors and cultivators can now continuously digitally monitor the total weight and the usable load of their drawbar trailers – even during use: the running gear computer AGRO Hub, which BPW will present at Agritechnica 2019, controls and measures the use of spreaders and loading and feed mixers. Even transport drawbar trailers are saved the detour via weighbridges and yard scales.

BPW develops hydraulic drive axle AGRO Drive for agricultural trailers

On soft, loose soils or when operating on banks or hillsides, agricultural vehicles often reach their limits. In order to facilitate vehicle start-ups on such surfaces and to prevent getting stuck, BPW has developed a hydraulic drive axle for agricultural trailers: the BPW AGRO Drive. The AGRO Drive axle is celebrating its world premiere at Agritechnica this November.
