Roar Ambition puts a lot of time, effort and money into developing a great company culture and team spirit. Moving into 2018 company culture is far more critical than it has ever been. It's not a case of company culture never being unimportant in previous years, but it’s quickly proving to be a “must-have” rather than a “nice-to-have.” Particularly as Millennial’s start to dominate the workforce.

Millennials have grown up in a time of financial prosperity and unimaginable advancements in technology. A career nowadays means much more than a stable 9 to 5 and employees value what a company values, does for the community and the culture within than caring about how much money they earn. So in order to attract and retain the top talents of the modern workforce, businesses need to have fantastic company culture and great team spirit.

Having a great team spirit will do wonders for boosting morale and results. The focus is now on the leaders within firms to focus and build teams that have high levels of team spirit.

There are many ways leaders can build a great team spirit, and Roar Ambition has shared the top tips:

1.) Be humble, by cracking the whip gets your nowhere with your team apart from resentment towards you. Your subordinates need to know that you value them and they work with you, not for you. Praise where its due and provide negative feedback in an environment that makes employees more comfortable and willing to accept issues.

2.) Let your team know their personal goals can only be achieved if the whole team pulls together. For example, they can’t get a pay rise if the business goes out of business.

3.) it's essential to have rules or suggestions about how team members are communicating with each other. Napoleon Hill once said, “If you have something to say to somebody or about somebody, think if it will help or hurt them. If it will help them say it; if it will hurt them, don’t.”. Create an environment where negative criticism and office “gossip” will not be tolerated.

The company's mission is to connect with as many ideal consumers as possible, on behalf of our clients’ brands in order to increase their sales results and acquire quality consumers. Roar Ambition is currently based in Liverpool, but they are hoping to expand across the UK and beyond, to anything the light touches.
