Think Outside the Box to Achieve Success Argues Bing Zou CEO at Empire Z Inc.

With substantial growth goals, CEO of Houston-based Empire Z Inc. is urging aspiring professionals to think outside the box to achieve goals.

Entrepreneur and CEO of direct marketing and sales specialists Empire Z Inc, Bing Zou took some time out recently to answer some questions about his background and his ambitions for Empire Z Inc.

What did you do before starting in the direct marketing industry?

I grew up in Zhenjiang, China. Ten years ago, I made the life-changing decision to move to the U.S to study at the University of Central Arkansas. Within two years, I had grasped basic English, before pursuing a major in business. During my time at university, I became president of Chinese Scholars and the Student Association for two years. I organized numerous events for students of my culture to meet with U.S students of the university to better acquaint themselves with U.S culture and help to integrate. Soon after, I built my own business club called “Chinese Service Club”. I receive two degrees in Marketing and Management Information Systems. Direct sales and marketing was my first job after I graduated from college.

What lessons have been integral to growth at Empire Z?

During the foreign study experience, I learned that if you want something in life, you have to be willing to work for it and to think outside the box. I dreamed of becoming a businessman, and I did it through hard work and determination. I have accomplished a lot of things I never thought I could. Never give up! Never show people you can’t do it. You never know what you can accomplish until you try.

What are your goals for the future?

My biggest goal is to develop people and to help them to achieve their dreams. As our people progress individually, simultaneously the Empire grows. We have substantial growth goals for 2018, with plans to open two new locations in Houston in the first quarter, and then to launch in three new locations in Q2 and two in Q3. Our goal for the end of the year is to have grown by 1000%.
