Road closures for the Bury 10k on Sunday 18 September

Don’t forget that this Sunday is the day of the first Bury 10k and family fun run.  A number of the borough’s roads and junctions will be closed, or have access restricted, to ensure the safety of all those taking part. Some parking restrictions will be in place but major car parks including Castle Leisure Centre, Mill Gate, The Rock and Knowsley Place will all be open.Parsons Lane car park (behind Wilkinsons) is closed to the public on 17 and 18 September and there will be limited access to Manchester Road car park on 18 September due to the road closures..

If you aren’t involved in the run, you can help create a great atmosphere for the runners by coming along, lining the route and cheering everyone on.The 10k gets underway at 9.30am and finishes at The Rock Retail and Leisure in the vicinity of Barista cafe.
