Apply now to send your child to the new Radcliffe secondary school

Parents can now choose to send their child to the new high school in Radcliffe, which will open for its first intake into Year 7 in September 2024.

Two Open Events are being held for prospective pupils and families to learn more about Star Radcliffe Academy, its offer and the admissions process.

They will take place at the Outreach Centre in Blackburn Street, Radcliffe on:

  • Tuesday 3 October (6pm to 7.30pm).
  • Monday 16 October (4pm to 5.30pm).

Applications must be made directly to Star, not the council - go to www.starradcliffe.orgfor all the details.

  • Parents applying for admission to Star Radcliffe Academy are advised to apply separately for other high schools in the borough of Bury via the council website www.bury.gov.uk/admissionssecondary. The closing date for applications is 31 October 2023.
