Do you want to start up or grow your business? Then sign up for the latest free Build a Business workshops at Bury Library.

At these sessions, you can be informed about market research, business planning, Intellectual Property, registration and much more.

Experts undertake a diagnostic of your business and put together a plan for your next steps and how they can continue to support you.

Details of the upcoming courses:

• Know your market – 25 April (10am-1pm). Do you know who your customers really are? How much they will spend on your product or service? Why they choose one over another? Why would they choose you over a competitor? This workshop will give you the knowledge to research your customer and find sales through market research.

• Marketing – 9 May (10am-1pm). Join Rachel Craig and Karen Macwee from Ruche Marketing who’ll be delivering Build a Business’s all new marketing workshop on how to build an effective marketing strategy, plan marketing campaigns, build a brand through consistent marketing, creating effective social media content and more…

• Business Basics - 16 May (10am-1pm). Join Wendy Breakell, entrepreneur and named one of the top 50 business advisors in the North West. This workshop covers the essential ‘nuts and bolts’ of starting up and running a successful enterprise, including legal structures, costs, cashflow and more.
• Intellectual property – 23 May (10am-1pm). Intellectual Property can be worth cash to your business. Make sure your product, service, website, and brand are protected from would be copycats or do not infringe others’ rights.
